John Fanning a.k.a. Massaccesi is a multi-disciplinary artist not just focused on sound but also heavily in the visual and performance art fields. His full-length release on Phthalo, ‘I Never Fall Apart Because I Never Fall Together’, takes a quote from Andy Warhol’s “Philosophy” book and is an example of his early attempts at mashing up abstract structure, lo-fi recording techniques and total irrelevance for anything hip.
