‘Death Notice’ is Chris Douglas’ soundtrack for his own funeral. As such, this album ranks as one of O.S.T.’s most haunting works. Eschewing O.S.T.’s usual cavalcade of tortured electronic drums, ‘Death Notice’ instead spends most of its running time in a state of reflective, eerie contemplation.
